Enhancements Made to Cerner PharmNet Classic System

• Changed fill lists to remove PRN medications.
• Added floor stock location to several formulary items to ensure fill list include appropriate medications.
• Added qualifiers to specific SIG codes for dosing times by specific nursing unit.
• Added order alerts for special order medications and linked alerts to specific medications.
• Established and wrote rules for specific medications that alert Pharmacy Manager when these medications are dispensed.
• Adjusted nursing station locations on Pyxis console to enable nursing units to share Pyxis stations.
• Changed the parameters for the stop order report to remove one time orders.
• Tested and implemented J Code billing code.
• Divided the initial fill list into groups to increase pharmacy efficiency.
• Built and implemented clinical worksheets for clinical dietician to track potential drug-food interactions.
